The Clew Bay Hotel was also nominated in two categories for the Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards for 2008 & 2009 . The Three Star Hotel Category and Madden's Bistro was nominated in the Casual Dining Category. Proving to be one of the finest hotels in Mayo.

 

On 15th November  2009 the Clew Bay Hotel won the Environment Award at the Mayo Business Awards 2009 ceremony.
