3 days of Folk & Bluegrass Music in Westport
The best of local, national and international folk and bluegrass acts will take place during the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival, and will consist of music workshops, musical lunch and two nights of the best local, national and international folk and bluegrass music. There will also be pub gigs.

Friday 24th June at 9.45pm - The Official Opening Gig
THE MACEVILLY'S one of only two bands who return to the festival for the 5th time. they played twice on the main stage and this year they will return to the official opening gig of the festival in the unique surrounding of the clew bay hotel.
the band are mayo main bluegrass band and they earn an increase number of followers in recent years.
Saturday 25th June at 1.00pm
COUNTY LINE top American bluegrass trio, they tour Ireland last year and now appearing in an Irish bluegrass festival for the first time.
the lunch time gig in the hotel is the main event at that time during the festival and was very successful in recent years.
once again we are sure that they will take the festival by a Storm with a gig that combining bluegrass standards along side "grassed up" contemporary chart songs.
Sunday 26th June at 12:00 noon
THE MOLLY HICKS the galway ladies took tje last festival by a Storm, with one of the most memorable gig of the festival.
this year they will return to the clew bay to a Sunday "brunch-time" gig.
a great serving of bluegrass for those who need it first thing in the morning.
although being for quite a wile on the Irish bluegrass scene, this year so the band playing most Irish festival as well as events abroad.
