Recipes for Success: The Business of Food
Westport Food Festival has partnered with Mayo County Enterprise Board to offer a one-day business event for small food businesses, food lovers and those with an interest in the food industry. Recipes for Success: The Business of Food will provide idea generation, shared knowledge and showcase how various food-related enterprises achieve business success. The event is being organised as part of Mayo Ideas Week.

Back by popular demand to open the festival weekend .Start the evening with a sparkling wine reception along with a meet n' greet and sampling of our local food products. A six-course dinner will showcase the synergy between Westport's chefs and food producers with the chefs divided into teams and each team responsible for a different course. A video link to the kitchen will allow diners to watch the chefs cook up a storm before voting for their favourite team. Guest MC is celebrity reporter Noel Cunningham of TV3's Ireland AM, who will keep everyone entertained. Dinner is followed by a Parade of Chefs and music and dancing til dawn with local band "What the Funk". All guests leave with a special goody bag. Remember,
